I joined HERMO in 2013 as senior web developer and grew with the team into the CTO role. Led the engineering crew behind the product, the in-house ERP (warehouse, fulfilment, CRM, BI), the RESTful API powering web and mobile, and the iOS & Android apps.
In May 2017 HERMO was acquired by Tokyo-listed istyle inc. — the company behind Japan's @cosme platform — becoming a subsidiary and giving Series A investor Gobi Partners a 91% IRR exit. I stayed on through the integration before leaving in early 2018 to start ALPSTEIN.
